Catered Chalet Diane in Alpe d’Huez is a warm and welcoming alpine chalet, perfectly positioned at the foot of the slopes and an exciting new addition to our France catered chalets for the 2026/27 ski season. With beautiful mountain views and a sunny aspect, it offers an easy, relaxed setting for a ski holiday in France.
Located in the Bergers district, this ideally positioned Alpe d’Huez chalet offers ski access from the chalet onto gentle slopes, with the main piste just 250 metres (2–3 minutes) away. A charming and peaceful base, it’s ideal for beginners, while more experienced skiers can head straight to the lifts at Les Bergers for quick and easy access to the wider Alpe d’Huez ski area.
Sleeping up to 14 guests across 7 bedrooms, Chalet Diane is particularly well suited to family and group ski holidays in Alpe d’Huez. The layout includes two separate living areas, ideal for groups travelling with children or those wanting extra space to relax independently.
The main living spaces are cosy and inviting, with plenty of natural light and mountain views. A sunny balcony offers the perfect spot for a morning coffee or an après-ski drink.
After a day on the slopes, guests can unwind in the chalet’s private sauna and outdoor hot tub — ideal for relaxing and recharging.
Just 500 metres from the centre of Alpe d’Huez, the chalet is within easy reach of the resort’s lively bars, restaurants and boutiques. A free shuttle bus runs regularly, making it easy to get around the resort.

In our catered chalets, we really do pride ourselves on the quality of our food and catering. We love food. We are all very much foodies here at Buildmyskitrip.com. That is why our entire ethos for the chalets is based upon the idea of a GENEROUS and INDULGENT menu, with freshly prepared, devilishly moreish, great food (and drink of course). Everything is cooked fresh in the chalets every day, by your very own dedicated and friendly chalet team.
To us, it is quite simple. We want our customers to be excited at the thought of coming back to the chalet each day. Eagerly looking forward to a sumptuous, yummy cake by the fire, delectable wine that makes it completely acceptable to drink 7 nights in a row (you are on holiday after all) and most importantly, a mouth-watering, generous and indulgent meal that is hopefully one of those meals where you think “wow, I can’t stop putting this in my mouth”. A GREAT catered chalet is BOTH great accommodation AND great food.

Chalet Meluzine enjoys a superb position in Alpe d’Huez in the popular Bergers district, with ski access from the chalet onto gentle slopes and the main piste just 200 metres away. The nearby lifts at Les Bergers provide quick and easy access to the wider Alpe d’Huez ski area, making it ideal for both beginners and more experienced skiers.
The shops, bars and restaurants of Alpe d’Huez are within a 5–10 minute walk (500 metres), along with a range of leisure facilities including a swimming pool, ice rink and cinema. A free resort shuttle bus stops nearby, offering easy access across the resort.
