The Chalet

Hotel le Sherpa is a traditional and cosy 3* hotel that enjoys a wonderful position in the quiet Plein Sud area at the top of Val Thorens. This extremely popular hotel provides guests with spectacular views over the resort and its peaks. Ski convenience is excellent: you put your skis on just 30m from the front door and ski through the resort for about a minute to get to the ski school meeting point (snow and level depending).

At the end of the skiing day, you can arrive back directly at Hotel le Sherpa's sun terrace and ski-room door. The centre of Val Thorens is just 100m away.

The hotel offers Bed and Breakfast, Half-board and Full board.

The prices quoted are based on 2 people sharing and include 7 nights half-board accommodation + a 6 day Val Thorens ski pass.

Included for a minimum stay of 7 nights:

Deposit

To secure our holidays, we ask for just a 20% deposit with nothing else to pay until 6-8 weeks before departure.

FAQ’s

How much is the deposit?

In order to book one of our chalets, we require just a 25% deposit at the time of booking. Your final balance is then due 8 weeks before departure.

How do I make payments?

We except credit, debit or bank transfer payments. You can pay for your holiday online, using your very own manage booking page. Groups can also split payments and each individual can pay their final balance separately if required.

How do I view and manage my booking?

All customers have their own manage booking page. On this page, you can view all holiday information, make payments, update bed and dietary preferences, add extras like ski passes and ski hire and more. All members of a group can access this page, so that everyone in the group is able to manage their own part of the booking.

Do my chalet hosts live in the chalet?

All of our chalet staff have separate accommodation to the chalet.

What time is Check-In and Check-Out?

Your chalet will typically be ready around 5pm and your chalet hosts will liaise with you on your day of arrival to keep you updated. If you arrive before the chalet is ready, you can drop your bags at the chalet and then explore the resort.

Check-out on your last day is at 10am.

Can you cater for dietary requirements?

We cater to vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, and more. Simply inform us of your needs when booking. We do not charge any extra for special diets.

Where are your catered chalets located?

Our chalets are based in the snowsure, French resorts of Val d'Isere, Tignes and Val Thorens.

Do we need to fill the chalet?

ALL of our catered chalets are sole-occupancy, meaning the price you are quoted is based on you having the whole chalet to yourselves. The more you fill the chalets to capacity, the cheaper it becomes for each individual.

What is included in the quoted prices on your website?

At the moment, your quote is based on the catered chalet. We can also arrange your transfers, ski passes, equipment hire, lessons, and childcare.
